L.I.T. Camp Firelight- Encounter Kids Camp 2024

We are so excited to be offering a Leaders in Training camp during our summer this year. Children going into Grade 7 & 8 (as of Sept 2024) will be able to develop leadership skills by closley working with our staff here at Encounter. L.I.T. Campers will be expected to help in the assistance of younger campers and also take on leadership roles throughout camp week.

L.I.T. Campers are expected to be at the Church from 8:15am to 4:30pm (earlier than other campers) to be apart of our team huddles in the morning and to help reset camp for the next day.

L.I.T. Campers will recieve a camper shirt, off-site field trip and a hot lunch on Friday, and 9 hours of programing a day.

Age range: Grade 7 to Grade 8 (as of Sept 2024)
Cost: $50 for the whole week

As part of our activities at Encounter Church, children's photos are often taken during the events. We require your permission to use them in any of our publications (i.e. flyers, posters, slideshows, etc.). All names/identities of children will be kept confidential, and will not be shared with any third party (i.e. another church, newspaper) without further written consent.

All reasonable precautions are taken for the safety and health of your child, but in the event of an accident or sickness requiring medical attention, Encounter Church, and its volunteers are hereby released from liability. In the event that your child requires special medical attention, medication, x-rays or treatment the parents/guardians will be notified immediately.

We also request that students participating in our programs refrain from bringing unnecessary valuable items with them, such as iPods, personal gaming devices (i.e. Nintendo DSI), or other personal electronic devices. If these items are brought to our any of our programs, it is at the student's own risk, as Encounter Church will not be liable for any loss or damages. I understand that all camp fees are non-fundable and I will not recieve a refund after I have paid for camp.
